Automatic Packing Machine
This machine is mainly used for automatic quantitative packaging of powder materials, such as, flour, starch, feed, food, chemical industry, light industry, building materials industries.
Automatic Packing Machine
Automatic packaging machines are core equipment in modern industrial production for achieving standardized and automated packaging of finished materials. This equipment integrates electronic weighing, automatic bag feeding, automatic filling, automatic sealing, and finished product conveying, enabling the automated completion of the entire packaging process from bag feeding to finished product output. The automatic packaging machine uses a programmable logic controller (PLC) as its core control system, employs high-precision weighing sensors for measurement, and completes bag clamping, filling, and sealing actions through pneumatic actuators. The machine features high measurement accuracy, fast packaging speed, high degree of automation, and stable and reliable operation.
The value of automatic packaging machines in industrial production is reflected in multiple dimensions, including ensuring packaging accuracy, improving production efficiency, and reducing labor costs.
Equipment Structure
The automatic packaging machine consists of the following core systems:
(I) Material Storage and Feeding System: This includes a material storage hopper and a feeding actuator. The storage hopper has a top hopper and a feeding device connected to the bottom. The feeding device uses a dual-chamber diversion design, and the single-feed quantity is controlled by adjusting the distance between the arc-shaped baffle and the fixed material plate. Various feeding methods, such as double spiral, double vibration, and double valve, can be selected according to the material characteristics.
(II) Weighing and Metering System: This includes high-precision weighing sensors, a weighing hopper, and weighing control instruments. The sensors use imported high-precision components (such as Toledo weighing sensors from the USA), ensuring stable signal transmission. The weighing control system consists of a Mitsubishi PLC, weighing sensors, and weighing instruments. The equipment can use either hopper weighing detection or finished product sampling inspection for quality control.
(III) Automatic Bag Feeding and Clamping System: This includes a bag feeding device and a pneumatic bag clamp. The bag feeding device automatically stores empty bags and delivers them to the bottom of the discharge port. The pneumatic bag clamp offers excellent sealing and is compatible with various bag sizes.
(IV) Conveying and Sealing System: Includes a belt conveyor and sealing device. The sealing device can be either a bag sewing machine or a heat sealing machine. Sealing temperature and pressure parameters can be adjusted in real-time via a touchscreen control panel.
(V) Electrical Control System: Employs a PLC programmable controller as its core. It is equipped with a touchscreen human-machine interface. The control system features A/B scale interlocking, fault jump step, and counting functions.
Application range of equipment
Automatic packaging machines are widely used in industries such as fertilizer, chemical, food, feed, and pharmaceuticals. In fertilizer production, they are suitable for bulk packaging of compound fertilizers, blended fertilizers, BB fertilizers, organic fertilizers, urea, and other fertilizers. In the chemical industry, they are suitable for packaging chemical raw materials, additives, pesticides, etc. In the food industry, they are suitable for packaging rice, beans, milk powder, etc. In the feed industry, they are suitable for packaging feed and feed additives.Types of available raw materials
The raw materials that automatic packaging machines can process include: granular materials (compound fertilizer, urea, plastic granules, rice, beans, etc.); and powdery materials (organic fertilizer powder, milk powder, feed powder, metal powder, pesticide powder, etc.).Working principle of the equipment
The automatic packaging machine operates on a collaborative mechanism of "PLC program control + electronic weighing feedback + pneumatic execution." Its workflow is as follows: After starting the main unit, if the material in the weighing hopper has not reached the specified value, the photoelectric detection switch closes. After a delay, the oscillator starts vibrating, and the baffle opens to feed material into the scale. When the material feeding approaches the specified value, the photoelectric switch closes, the baffle closes, and small-scale vibration feeding continues. Once the hopper is full, the vibration stops. If three conditions are met simultaneously—full hopper, bag clamping signal, and no material being fed into another hopper—then that hopper opens to discharge material. Two seconds after discharge, the photoelectric switch closes again, and after a delay, the next weighing cycle begins. After the material reaches the specified weight, it enters the packaging bag and is conveyed to the sealing machine via a conveyor belt.Equipment operation method
(I) Pre-start Preparation: Confirm that all equipment is free from malfunctions or misalignment. Check for missing or loose screws and other components. Check that the air supply pressure meets the standard. Check that the power supply voltage is stable.
(II) Parameter Setting: Set parameters such as packaging weight, sealing temperature, and pressure via the touch screen. The system can store multiple packaging parameter formulas.
(III) Operation: The equipment automatically completes the entire process of bag feeding, material feeding, weighing, filling, sealing, and finished product conveying. Control and management during the equipment start-up and preparation phases are crucial for fully automatic packaging units.
(IV) Shutdown Operation: Material changing and shutdown operations must be performed according to specifications. Maintain accurate equipment usage and maintenance records and complete shift handover procedures.
Equipment maintenance methods
(I) Daily Maintenance: After each shift, promptly clean the equipment surface of material residue and dust, especially areas in contact with materials and packaging film. Check for looseness in linkage parts and tighten fasteners. Apply an appropriate amount of grease to gears, cams, and other transmission components daily.
(II) Periodic Maintenance: Check the flexibility and wear of moving parts such as worm gears, worm shafts, and bearings monthly. Establish a replacement plan for easily worn parts (such as heat sealing knives and silicone strips). Regularly calibrate the weighing system to ensure measurement accuracy.
(III) Electrical Maintenance: Check for loose or aged wiring terminals. Test the sensitivity of the emergency stop button and photoelectric sensors. Keep the inside of the electrical control box clean to prevent electrical faults.
Application of equipment in production line
Automatic packaging machines are used in the final packaging stage of fertilizer production lines. The upstream process is the finished product silo—a bucket elevator delivers the finished material into the storage silo. The downstream process is the finished product warehouse—the packaged finished product is conveyed to the palletizing area or directly loaded onto trucks for shipment.
The complete packaging process is as follows: Finished material → Bucket elevator → Storage silo → Automatic feeding → Automatic weighing → Automatic filling → Automatic sealing → Finished product conveying → Palletizing and warehousing. The equipment can seamlessly integrate with upstream granulation, drying, cooling, and screening equipment. Only 1-2 people are needed to monitor and assist with the entire packaging line.
